Find your local pin Meeting
what is property networking?
So what is property networking and why should you attend? I don’t know about you but when I first started investing in property back in 1995, I found it to be a very lonely journey. None of my family had ever invested, none of my friends were investing, I was really doing this on my own.
When I started investing, there was no internet and no networking meetings. I did okay, but I probably made some mistakes. Mistakes that if I had learnt from other people beforehand, I wouldn’t have had to make those. So one of the biggest benefits of networking is getting around like-minded people who are also interested in investing. They might be further along in their journey than you, but they can give you hints and tips that will save you time, money and effort.
The best way to find property networking events is to search for them on Google. But you can also visit the pin Meetings section of this site. Property Investors Network was the very first property networking organisation in the UK – in 2003. It is now the largest network with 50 meetings every month. So no matter where you are, there’s bound to be a meeting close to where you live, work, or invest. I suggest you go to the local meetings, there will probably be a couple where you live because you get different people going along.
As well as learning from other people there and also keeping up-to-date with the property market – you can meet property contacts. Maybe it’s builders, maybe it’s plumbers, maybe it’s architects, accountants, people who are in property who understand what you’re trying to achieve. They will help you get there quicker than if you’re trying to do it on your own.
You also get the opportunity at property networking events to learn from and listen to some of the best experts in the UK. These experts come and speak at these events and share with you their success, their failures, so you can really accelerate your journey and minimise the mistakes you make with property investing.
The other thing is by just meeting other people just like you, who are successful investing in the local area, this builds your confidence, it builds your belief about what you can do. This is because if you’ve met other people who are doing what you want and achieving the results you want, it means it’s possible because they’ve done it.
So property networking events are a great way of building your belief and your confidence to move forward. You can achieve everything you want to achieve from your property investing.

Every week, thousands of property investors attend more than 50 pin meetings across the country. Why? Because they want more knowledge, more support, more contacts, more deals and more resources. Regularly attending pin meetings is quite literally the best way to safely and expertly grow your property portfolio to new levels.
Kevin Bridgwater
(Sheffield pin attendee)
"I started investing in property in 2011 shortly after attending my first pin meeting in Sheffield. Since then I've done over £3.6m in property development deals and I couldn't have done it without the support and knowledge that I gained through the network over the years."
Sue Johnson
(Exeter pin attendee)
"I love going to my local pin meeting. Being very new to property investing, I was worried I wouldn't fit in but everybody was so friendly and welcoming and I'm already working on my first deal, so exciting! Can't wait for the next event, see you there!"
Nate Jones
(London pin attendee)
"The London property market can be brutal so it's really important to surround yourself with like-minded professional investors to support you along the way. I've met some amazing people through pin who I now work with closely on a daily basis."
