Meet your pin host
Isusko Garcia
Hola, I'm Isusko Garcia.
I began my working life in 2001 on commercial film sets, high end TV and live sports. Name a company or product and I've probably organised a film shoot for them. I know I'm blessed that I love the job I do, however the ups and downs of the industry led me to search for multiple sources of income to provide for my amazing wife and two phenomenal children.
Robert Kiyoaski’s Rich Dad, Poor Dad fired up a passion for financial independence, leading me to read Simon Zutshi’s Property Magic handbook and listen to his podcast. I decided to invest in my future and completed Mastermind Accelerator in September of 2022 - I had found my property tribe! I believed that I “couldn’t afford” the cost of the year long course but Robert Kiyoaski words rang out in my head, so I asked myself “How can I afford it?”
I put my name down, asked for a week’s grace to find the investment whilst I completed the events and wrote an investors pack. That document brought me two investors who paid for me to commit to the year long Mastermind program (MM32) which finished in October 2023.
Making friends, expanding my network and having fun along my property journey led me to hosting Surrey pin with Engin, a fellow MM32 masterminder and all-round amazing chap.
Combining my life in film, and newfound education in property, began my Creative Caves journey, which is becoming the preferred partner of apart-hotels for the British Film Industry.
My ‘why' is to empower everyday people to become the best version of themselves and I believe Surrey pin can help them to do that.
If you have a feeling that property is in your future and could give you the life you want, come along and surround yourself with like-minded people and become part of the Surrey pin Familia.
Engin Uluturk
I’m Engin Uluturk. My name is Turkish and I’m also half Italian in case you’re wondering.
I first showed an interest in property back 2014 when some of my university friends’ parents bought and rented to their daughters course mates. Well, that was smart! As a result, during my Portsmouth university days, having saved some of my student loan for a deposit, I purchased my first property. A year later, I saved some more of the student loan and refinanced the first to buy a second property. They became my first buy to let and 4 bedroom HMO. However, despite buying my first property in 2014, I treated property as a hobby for a long time. But that all changed during the wake up call of 2020. After that I decided to treat it like a proper business.
I’ve made many expensive mistakes that have cost me time and money along the way along. On reflection it was an excellent learning opportunity but it didn’t have to be that way!
I joined Simon Zutshi’s Property Mastermind Programme in 2022 and what a wonderful decision that turned out to be. A combination of new skills, knowledge, personal growth and invaluable contacts.
I still work 50 hour weeks at a large IT consulting company. I’m very fortunate to have climbed the corporate ladder for the last 9 years to senior leadership with such a fantastic company. I’ve gained invaluable and transferable skills on business operations, leadership and client retention. However, a moment is coming where time freedom is even more valuable than a salary and career success, especially with a little one on the way, which is where property is an excellent vehicle to replace.
I got into property because I wanted to provide a secure retirement for my parents and my purpose has become even stronger since 2020. However, property and business can be very lonely if those around you, don’t understand what you’re trying achieve or why you’re trying to achieve it.
That’s why I recommend you come down to the Surrey pin at the Hampton court golf club! A great place to learn, make contacts, talk business, property and mindset with people who get it. You will experience fantastic speakers in a beautiful location and so we would love for you to become a regular part of our growing family.
Isusko and I look forward to welcoming you to the surrey pin on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
