Meet your pin host
We’re Joshua and Katie Harvey, the Brother and Sister team and hosts of the Oxford pin Meeting, held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
We started our Rent-2-Rent HMO business, JK Avenir Estates, when Katie was just 17 and Joshua 20. Both of us realised early on that there was more to life than a 9 till 5 job and wanted to set ourselves up to live the fullest of lives. Fast forward 4 years and we now manage 8 properties in Oxford and are continually growing.
We first attended Property Magic Live, followed by the Property Mastermind Accelerator 3-day event, and finally joined the 12-month Property Mastermind 28 Programme. Because of these, we have built an incredible mindset to grow our business; Josh is now full-time property, and Katie is reaching her long-term goals early on.
We like to think of ourselves as the property investors who knock down stereotypes of being too young or too old. If you really want something, no matter what, you can reach your goals. If you want someone to speak to about mindset or setting goals, Oxford pin Meeting is the place to come. Even if you aren’t too sure what route you want to go down yet!
Katie has been in the construction industry as an Electrician since she was 16 so knows it well and has plans for HMO developments with Joshua in the near future.
We have attended pin Meetings ourselves for quite some time now, and always find that when we’re struggling with something, or even having a bad day, it really picks us back up and gets us on track again.
Our ambition for Oxford pin is to set up a warm, friendly environment where you can create great rapport with local experts to help you along your journey, because as we all know, ‘Your Network is your Net worth’.
