Hello, my name's Neil Brown and I'm the host of the Hull pin meeting.
I currently work as a scientist within the pharmaceutical industry, this has given me a sharp eye for detail and a very numeric mind, great for reviewing investment opportunities. I started in property by renting out the spare bedrooms within my own home. After being made redundant from a very successful company during the last recession, I wanted to have greater control of my future. I started attending pin meetings in 2015 and joined the mastermind programme in 2016 in order to get greater support. Since completing the mastermind programme, I have purchased a portfolio of properties including HMO's, single let properties and a block of flats, all within the local area and managed to quadruple my income from property. Many of these properties were purchased in a poor state of disrepair and were refurbished to a high standard. These properties have mostly been sourced myself using a variety of techniques.
Having lived and invested in Hull for the last 5 years, I have built up a vast knowledge of the local area and market conditions. Along with this, I have also built up a vast network of contacts. Feel free to ask me anything about property at the meeting, if I can't answer your question, I will probably be able to point you in the direction of somebody that can.
At the Hull pin meeting, you will find a very supportive and friendly environment created by the team and a group of regular local attendee's along with frequent visitors from further afield.
