Rupal Patel and Guy Brown
Reading pin host
Meet your pin host
Rupal left her native New York City and an exciting career in international affairs to make London, and now Berkshire, her home. After finishing her MBA at London Business School, she focused on business development, investor relations, fundraising and outreach for the property business she co-founded with Guy, and is now expanding relationships with private coachees and mentees.
Rupal brings her New York savvy and keen eye for aesthetics to each project site she manages. “You have to have standards, so they may as well be good ones,” she often tells her team. “We make our standards very clear and that attracts partners who share our values and commitment to quality.” When she’s not thinking of new ways to provide exceptional homes to clients and tenants or heling investors grow their businesses, Rupal can be found working on her book at local cafés with a cappuccino to hand.
Guy brings over a decade of experience in the luxury hospitality business and a commitment to exacting detail to every project he and Rupal take on. “The difference between a 4-star finish and a 5-star finish is a thousand little details,” he often says. “We create inspirational and aspirational homes by focusing on the form and design our customers can see, and the structural things they can’t, and by providing fantastic service.”
He loves delving into the details and getting smart about innovative building techniques, sustainable energy, and planning policy and sharing his knowledge with others. Guy brings the same intense focus, drive, and commitment to excellence to the squash court and football pitch (balanced out with a weakness for sweets) and welcomes the chance to get to know pin attendees at the meeting and on the playing field.
Rupal and Guy are really excited to be hosting Reading pin so they can support new and seasoned investors on their own property paths. They’re committed to bringing fantastic speakers, facilitating meaningful networking, and sharing their own experiences – good and bad – at every meeting, and hope to see you at a Reading pin meeting soon.
