Norwich February 2021 Meeting
Management Matters - some tips on building a growing property business - Beverley Lockett
Beverley's presentation is the culmination of years as a business lecturer specialising in change management and organisational behaviour for herself and David having his own accountancy practice specialising in SMEs and then both of them running and growing their own property business.
Through many conversations with property investors over the years she has heard the struggles that people go through to start and then grow their business. The same problems keep popping up wherever in the country they are. These problems are actually the same problems that ALL business owners suffer from, not just the property businesses!
The key problems they address are:
- Proper planning
- Prioritising work – ON and IN, urgent and important
- Why these are important
The talk is just a way of addressing a couple of the main problems people face and using ‘big business’ ideas and research to help people grow a sustainable, scalable and secure property business.
It is interactive and as a teacher Beverley also gives ‘homework’!!
