Rhett Brewer is well known as the face of the Property Filter online seminars. He began his professional property journey four years ago after leaving a corporate role during COVID with a clear aim to build passive income. He has since grown a portfolio of around fifty high-end HMO and flat units. Although based in the Southeast, his portfolio is in the Midlands, which meant developing strong systems, teams and processes to scale remotely. 

Rhett has invested heavily in his education, studying HMOs, title splitting, lease options, aparthotels, serviced accommodation and mindset. He draws on this training, along with his background in IT and coaching, to help members achieve stronger results. He has co-hosted or delivered training with Simon Zutshi, Saj Hussain, Rob Moore, YPN Magazine, Sitefindr, Nicky Greer and many other respected names in the industry. 

Joining us is Jamie Gillespie, founder of Edgehill Property Finance. With over a decade of experience in property finance, Jamie has built his career working across both the lending and brokerage sides of the industry, specialising in bridging and development finance.

Jamie currently leads the bridging and development team at one of the UK’s largest brokerages, and has been instrumental in structuring funding on some highly complex schemes, with his largest project to date being a development with a GDV of £54 million in Rickmansworth. Whether it’s a straightforward BTL or a large scale development, Jamie brings the expertise and lender relationships to get deals done.

Our next speaker is Mark Barrett, who leads the team at property-tax-advice.co.uk. Mark is a chartered accountant specialising in property strategy, business structures, and property taxation. Property Tax Advice is part of the RiverView Portfolio family of companies, which Mark founded, and the team now works with a diverse range of clients from single buy-to-let owners through to large scale property developers.

Dan is an established property developer, landlord and a leading business consultant who has worked in the property industry for over 20 years. He is co-founder of Harnel Group which has numerous ongoing development projects across London.

He is a regular guest speaker at many of the largest property and business events across the UK and has a passion for helping and supporting those looking to get into property development. In his role as Client Relations Director at propertyCEO, the country’s leading property development training company, he helps students get started on a property development journey that can lead to life-changing results.

With over 100,000 copies in circulation, and one of the most read books on property investing in the UK, and probably the book that started many of you on your investing journey.

In 2013 he founded CrowdProperty, one of the first peer-to-peer lending platforms in the property industry. Crown property has now lent £435million in property development loans to support projects with a GDV of almost £894million, providing 3810 new homes.

Simon is still actively investing in property, but his passion is teaching other people to replace their income from property.
