The Importance of Downtime as a Property Investor

It is always crucial to consider the Importance of Downtime, no matter where you are on your journey to becoming a successful Property Investor.

In the latest episode of Simon’s Property Magic Podcast, Property Expert Simon Zutshi, addresses why we should remember to relax and recharge. Ensuring you have plenty of breaks slotted into your schedule is just one of the habits of highly effective and successful people.

Simon runs through some ideas and stories about how you can begin to implement downtime. He uses his visit to Richard Branson’s Necker Island to explain how a Multi Billion Entrepreneur also incorporates a rule of working in the morning, and relaxing in the afternoon as part of his routine.

He stresses that whilst we are working towards Generating Wealth Through Property, we should make sure the efforts are equally not going to waste due to neglecting relationships with our loved ones.

Simon shares a tip of booking holidays at the beginning of the year so that you can fit your work schedule around those. Another great habit is putting in some free periods into your calendar. As deals or opportunities come in, you might not have time to deal with them without sacrificing something else.
