ALSO... Becoming Investable: The Key to Growth in My Property Journey - Leanne Davidson
Leanne Davidson is a property investor and developer based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
Having dabbled in property from being in her early 20's, she has worked her way up the property ladder by improving her own homes, selling for a profit and buying the next one. In 2001 she took on a huge renovation project when she bought an old, disused Water Treatment Works and converted it into her home; the story of that project was filmed by Channel 4's Grand Designs and appeared in Series 3 of the programme.
20 years later she took the leap and left her job to pursue her passion for property renovation full time. Over this journey, she has gained valuable insights, she has built a great network and has completed two profitable projects.
One of the most important lessons she has learnt is the value of 'becoming investable'—a key asset that hinges on both knowledge and experience. For any investor aiming to scale their property business, fully understanding the implications and compliance of working with other people's money is essential.
During Leanne's presentation she will cover:
- Her slow and steady journey to being a full time investor and the valuable lessons she has learnt.
- Why experience matters when you’re working with other people’s money
- Why it’s essential to understand what ‘being investable’ really means, and the associated risks that you need to minimize.
