Mindset? Mindshift. Mind blown! How we scaled from under £100k properties to a £1million pound deal - Ankie Bell and Hannelie Ehlers
During their presentation, Ankie and Hannelie will share about the massive mindset shift that happened for them over a period of 12 months. Where they previously had a Comfort Zone for properties no higher than £100k value, to scaling to a £1 million pound deal within 12 months.
They will also talk you through some of the deals that came in between, like the pub conversion they carried out. Their progress is mapped throughout and you will see how the mindshift occurred as they progressed. It also shows how ‘doing’ something really grows your confidence.
During their presentation you will learn:
- How much value there is in taking action, in getting ‘out there’
- How your confidence grows as your knowledge and results increase
- How common mindsets will be blown out of the water the more action you take
- How they don’t stick to a set strategy and why it works for them
ALSO...The Scrum Of Building – Build a team, plan and implement a gameplan, avoid bad building experiences - Chris Pearce
At some point we will need the builders on our projects to add value and improve our investment and we all have different experiences of this.
With over 30 years working in the construction industry, now as a Senior Contracts Manager with an international company, Chris has seen a lot of good practices and learned from bad practices.
Chris will be focusing not on the technical building elements but how to ensure we can have good practices and systems in place with a team in order to deliver a successful project. There are elements that are relevant whether it be a quick decoration or a detailed refurbishment.
During his presentation, Chris will:-
• Identify the 4 Key areas to a successful project
• Why construction is like rugby
• Describe 8 key members for the scrum of building
• How to reduce risk during your building project
Chris looks forward to sharing his experiences as a Project Manager and rugby player/coach/fan and to demonstrate how there are synergies between building and a game of rugby.
