Find, Fund, Hold or Exit : You and Your Choices - Richard Bowser
Richard Bowser, the editor of the renowned monthly magazine ‘Property Investor News’ offers an overview as to how investors can maximise the opportunities presented by current market conditions and buyer/seller sentiment.
As a long term residential landlord and private investor, Richard’s overview of the UK property investment market and his property investing experience gained over 23 years contains genuine substance and he offers some invaluable analysis for both new and experienced investors.
If you really want to enhance your understanding of the property marketplace and where the real opportunities will exist in the next few years, then make sure you don’t miss this talk.
ALSO... Is planning law so boring it's an alternative to sleeping pills? Ivan McFie
At this month's pin meeting, Ivan McFie from Designate Design Ltd, is going to look at various planning laws that allow for significant value increase in land and property. These include permitted development rights, planning law related to brownfield and greenfield sites, extensions and interiors.
During his presentation Ivan will cover:
- Office to Residential conversions
- Developing un-built sites, gaining planing permission.
- Multiple extensions to existing houses: a profitability guide
- Interiors work: increase in values
Ivan runs an architecture company specialising in planning applications, and feasibility work, particularly with challenging sites. He has been a war photographer in the Afghan Soviet war, which is politics on a global scale: dealing with local and national planning law is also political and advising on risk is a natural progression.
