York September 2022 Meeting
Insightful investing using data to make you more money - John Penquet
Do you know which street in the UK are the highest yielding?
Would you like to know in which areas your investments in property can increase in value by up to 20% for with no investment or refurbishment?
Ever wondered what demand is like and the real rental demand is for your portfolio?
Would you like to be told something is happening in property rather than be told what happened after the event?
Investors have used data and forecasting for decades to inform investment decisions. And yet hundreds of property investors make enormous investments and take risk without having high quality data.
Would you invest £200,000 in the stock market without accurate, specific market data?
During his presentation, John will talk about how he used data to find locations where rent demand was high and then enjoyed significant property value increases by securing properties in areas nobody else was looking.
ALSO...Headache in the Pipeline? Developing a Strategy for your Utilities... Jeff Topp
Jeff Topp, from pin’s preferred utilities supplier - Full Power Utilities – will be sharing his knowledge and expertise about utility management and helping us to minimise the associated headache and costs.
Normally a substantial running cost for HMO/Serviced Accommodation operators, Jeff will inform you of the different options available to you with regards the procurement and management of your gas and electricity supply.
During his talk, Jeff will cover several topics, including:
- How to minimise/remove the headache associated with managing your (growing) portfolio’s utilities.
- How a commercial utility rate can be secured on a domestic use property (without VAT implications).
- How to protect yourself from inevitable price increases and additional charges.
- How to avoid dealing with the suppliers!
- It’s not just utilities that savings can be found
