Croydon Host

Elsie Ofili and Tonu Aboaba

Hi, we are Elsie Ofili and Tonu Aboaba and we are delighted to host the Croydon pin Meeting which takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Elsie Ofili

As your co-host, along with Tonu and the team, I want to ensure you have a great evening and get the most out of attending the meeting. With this in mind, here is an overview about me, a bit about the meeting and how we might be able to help you.

I started my working career in Re-insurance broking in the City, then I moved on to working in social housing for many years.

My family and I started an Estate Agency business. Afterwards, I started to research to find better ways of investing into property, and that’s when I came across the property investors network (pin). I started to attend several pin meetings. During the meeting I attended Kent pin where I won the Serviced Accommodation prize draw training. After attending the training, I started my own Serviced Accommodation business. Alongside my management business. I quickly grew my income and replaced my salary from my 9-5 job.

I decided to join Simon Zutshi’s 12-month Property Mastermind Programme to get myself better educated and as a result of that, I learnt about creative strategies in property.

I currently concentrate on Serviced Accommodation, HMOs, Conversions and Developments. The networking meetings are so valuable to me as I meet people of like minds. I have successfully partnered and worked with people I have met at the meetings. Also, we have very knowledgeable speakers on various topics.

Tonu Aboaba

I’m so excited to be co-hosting Croydon pin with the amazing Elsie Ofili.

Elsie has created such a warm and safe space where local investors, property professionals, and service providers come together to connect, network and support each other in order to achieve financial independence. It’s a real privilege to be joining her and the brilliant team she’s built.

I have been in property all my working life; first as a Quantity Surveyor and then pivoted into Estate Agency when I had my children. After my sons graduated, I started exploring the property investment space by attending pin meetings which culminated in me joining Simon Zutshi’s 12 month Property Mastermind Programme in 2022/23, where I learnt and started implementing how to support sellers through creative and ethical solutions tailored to their particular circumstances.

Currently aside from helping landlords and sellers across London and Greater London let, manage and sell their properties, I am also growing my Estate Agency business using a buy and build acquisition strategy. Also, I am actively looking to buy portfolios and blocks of flats in SPVs.

Please do come and say hello - I’d love to meet you! And if you’re looking for some guidance or a connection to help you along your property investment journey, I’m always happy to help however I can - whether it's answering a question or introducing you to someone in the room.

I live by the mantra that “every day is a school day” so no matter how many pin meetings you attend, there’s always something new to learn.

PS: If it’s your first time attending a pin meeting, use my code Tonu for a free ticket. I look forward to meeting you in person!

A BIT ABOUT THE EVENT

Each month we get to enjoy two, often very different talks from established property professionals. We also squeeze in a Mortgage update together with lots of positive networking.

Whilst of course the main aim of the evening is to inform and educate on all aspects of property, it’s just as important to us that you thoroughly enjoy yourself, hopefully make a few new contacts and learn something new. Even better…we hope you’ll make this meeting a regular date in your diary!

A BIT ABOUT YOU

Many of our attendees want to become either actively involved in the day-to-day building of their portfolio, become financially free, or take their property business to the next level. Whatever your reason why, there are lots of ways that we can help you.

Please do come up to any of us and say hello. Throughout the evening, if there is anything we can do to help you, just let us know. ....
