Hello and welcome to The Solent pin Meeting. I’m Rob Martineau, your host of The Solent pin meeting, held on the first Tuesday of the month.

I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience with fellow investors.

I bring over 25 years of hands-on property experience to the table. My journey in the property world began with commercial office refurbishments for brands like Levi’s and Seiko, before I moved into residential refurbishments and spent more than a decade running my own kitchens, bathrooms and electrical contracting business as a qualified NICEIC electrician.

A move from London to Hampshire marked a new chapter, driven by family priorities and a desire for coastal living.

Reading “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki opened my eyes to new possibilities in property investment, which led me to Simon Zutshi’s “Property Magic” and the property investors network. After attending my first pin meeting in Portsmouth, I enrolled onto the 3-day Mastermind Accelerator Programme, and the experience was so transformative that I committed to the year-long Property Mastermind Programme the following month.

That training didn’t just sharpen my property knowledge, it fundamentally shifted my mindset. I learned that knowledge combined with networking, coaching and accountability are what really drive success in this business.

Today, I run Rows Tender Group, a family of property businesses built around long-term letting and management. At the heart of it sits HMO HQ, our specialist HMO and co-living lettings and management agency, where the mission is simple: helping landlords sleep soundly. Alongside HMO HQ we hold the South West licence for Sell My House Quickly, and we’re growing a portfolio and management business that serves landlords and investors right across the region. Our own portfolio spans HMOs on rent-to-rent and lease option agreements, and we’re focused on scaling the management side while steadily building our asset base.

Whether you’re brand new to property investment or a seasoned investor, I understand how much continuous learning and networking with like-minded people matter. The property journey is as much about personal growth as it is about business development, and I’m here to share insights from both my hands-on background and our investment and management strategies.
