Julie Whitmore

Hi I’m Julie Whitmore your host at the Manchester property investors network (pin). I wish you a warm welcome to our meeting held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month here at the Best Western in Altrincham.

I become seriously involved in property investing in 2011, and then in 2013 was introduced to pin, through which I started to invest in my education and training, culminating with attending Simon Zutshi’s Mastermind Programme in 2014.

I then chose to leave my corporate job late 2014 to focus on my property business full time. I am actively continuing to build my portfolio using numerous strategies. I have undertaken mid-size C2R developments including an office to 15 apartment development in addition to HMO’s, BTL’s etc and many other refurbishment projects.

I work with investor’s wanting to get onto the property ladder helping them to build their own portfolio and I’m also an experienced sourcer. I have a passion for raising awareness of the need for undertaking your “Duo Diligence” on people in property as well as projects in addition to being a writer for the YPN magazine.

From my own property experience I appreciated and understood the value of the knowledge I had gained and the power of the network I am part of, in addition to the business knowledge I had gained from 30+ years’ in the corporate world. I also have interests in multiple small businesses and as a pin Host enjoy being able to provide people with advice and guidance from the experience and knowledge I have gained throughout my journey.

The meetings are extremely informative, featuring industry leading keynote speakers and local industry specialists’, and they offer great networking opportunities with contacts who can help you on your own personal journey.
