Valery Beroskin

I am a professional property investor and developer based in Berkshire, with over three decades of experience in property, having been a property owner and investor since 1992.

I am delighted to be co-hosting the Reading event alongside Peter - a fantastic opportunity to bring together both seasoned property professionals and newcomers to the industry. Our goal is to create a welcoming, engaging environment where people can connect, learn, and grow their property knowledge networks.

We are especially pleased to be collaborating with local service providers, including mortgage brokers, letting agents, property solicitors, and skilled tradespeople. These partnerships are vital to building a strong, supportive community.

As part of the event, every attendee will have the chance to deliver a short pitch to the room - an excellent way to promote your services, generate new leads, and share solutions with a highly targeted audience.

Property is fundamentally a people business. Success often comes down to who you know - or have yet to meet.

Peter Young

I am a professional property investor and project manager based in Richmond, South West London. My career began as a masters-qualified pipeline engineer working on large-scale infrastructure projects, and I continue to consult in the carbon capture industry today – a role I’m deeply passionate about.

My property journey started back in 2006 when I became an accidental landlord after moving to Australia and renting out my first flat. My wife and I grew a portfolio of 4 properties simply from moving for our careers.

Like many investors, COVID was a turning point for me, and after listening to Property Magic I decided to take things seriously. In 2021, I joined Simon Zutshi's 12 month programme, where I was proud to be recognised as a top performer.

Since then, I’ve built a portfolio of 10 investment properties, including 33 HMO rooms, and I currently run several live construction projects simultaneously, such as a commercial-to-residential conversion. I’m committed to sharing knowledge with honesty and integrity, and co-hosting the Reading Property Investors Network with Valery is a fantastic way to connect with like-minded people, build relationships, and help others move forward on their property journey.
